Monetary Donations

Funds raised will be used to facilitate the recovery and rebuilding efforts in affected areas, including clean up, rebuilding and other supplies needed and transportation for Wagner Cares volunteers to get to damaged community sites.

Where does the money go?

Donations are directed to relief efforts for survivors of Hurricane Sandy, including mold remediation, building materials, and demolition. Allocation of funds is overseen by the Wagner Cares Steering Committee, the Wagner College Administration, and President Guarasci. View the Wagner Cares team here.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. All donations are 100% tax deductible. You will receive a receipt and deduction information by regular mail whether you donate online or by check.

Can I send a check?

Yes. Checks can be addressed to SGA – Wagner Cares – Union 203, One Campus Road, Staten Island NY 10301. Checks are 100% tax deductible as well. You will receive a receipt and deduction information by regular mail.

Item Donations

Due to the overwhelming generosity displayed by members of our community, we are no longer able to accept clothing, food or cleaning supplies at this time.  We are still accepting financial donations and actively connecting people with projects through our Volunteer page.  Thanks for your continued support of our relief efforts.
